Children with mobility challenges are riding in style thanks to a $15,000 grant from the Chris Norton Foundation.
The grant helped purchase adaptive bikes that encourage physical activity, improve strength, and promote independence for children with mobility disabilities.
The Chris Norton Foundation supports individuals living with spinal cord injuries and mobility disabilities, along with their families, by creating opportunities for connection, independence, and hope. Through programs such as Ignite Family Wheelchair Camps and support for equipment and therapies, the foundation works to help families experience meaningful possibilities.
The adaptive bikes provide children with opportunities to stay active, build confidence, and enjoy greater mobility.
The grant highlights the impact of community generosity in helping children overcome challenges and experience the freedom of movement.
