Some residents in Mount Pleasant will be without water for several hours on Tuesday due to planned maintenance work.
The Mount Pleasant Utilities Water Department has scheduled a shutdown on April 28 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. while crews complete necessary system improvements.
The affected areas include:
- North Broadway Street between West Pearl Street and West 2nd Street
- West State Street
During this time, homes and businesses in these locations may lose water service or notice a drop in water pressure.
