An inmate at the Iowa Medical and Classification Center has died.
According to officials, Robert Herman Boeck, 62, passed away at approximately 2:50 p.m. on Friday, April 17, 2026. Boeck had been serving a sentence for crimes committed in Pottawattamie County.
Records show his incarceration began on October 29, 2021.
No additional details about the cause of death have been released at this time.
