Oskaloosa Schools are celebrating another major accomplishment by student-athlete Sidney Thompson, who has officially qualified for the 2026 Iowa Girls State Bowling Tournament, marking the fourth state qualification of her high school bowling career.
Thompson’s achievement reflects years of dedication, discipline, and consistency on the lanes. As a four-time state qualifier, she has demonstrated sustained excellence and has become a leader within the Oskaloosa girls bowling program.
Sidney will compete at the 2026 State Bowling Tournament, hosted by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union, on February 11 at 9:00 a.m. The event will be held at Cadillac Lanes in Waterloo and will feature top bowlers from across the state.
