This Hazardous Weather Outlook covers the following counties in central Iowa: Emmet, Kossuth, Winnebago, Worth, Palo Alto, Hancock, Cerro Gordo, Pocahontas, Humboldt, Wright, Franklin, Butler, Bremer, Sac, Calhoun, Webster, Hamilton, Hardin, Grundy, Black Hawk, Crawford, Carroll, Greene, Boone, Story, Marshall, Tama, Audubon, Guthrie, Dallas, Polk, Jasper, Poweshiek, Cass, Adair, Madison, Warren, Marion, Mahaska, Adams, Union, Clarke, Lucas, Monroe, Wapello, Taylor, Ringgold, Decatur, Wayne, Appanoose, and Davis.

DAY ONE…Today and Tonight
A band of light rain and snow is expected to move through the region late tonight into Thursday morning. While overall accumulations are expected to be minimal, isolated slick spots may develop, particularly in north central Iowa. Motorists are advised to exercise caution in areas prone to freezing.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…Thursday through Tuesday
Another band of light rain and snow is forecast to pass through Thursday morning. Again, overall accumulation will be limited, but isolated slick spots may occur, especially in north central counties. Residents should remain alert to potential icy road conditions during this period.
