Andrew Thomas Ryals, 83, formerly of Ottumwa, died at 4:15 p.m. February 22, 2026 at Pearl Valley Rehab and Healthcare Center in Perry.
He was born May 31, 1942 in Ottumwa to Otis Andrew Thomas and Marjorie Elizabeth Gee Ryals.
Growing up in Ottumwa, he attended a country school in Wapello County and sometimes attended St. Mary of the Visitation.
Surviving is his brother, Ferris Ryals along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Ronnie Ryals, Sandra Cook and Bert Ryals.
Visitation will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, February 26th at Reece Funeral Home.
Graveside services and burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, February 27th at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Phil Griffith officiating.
