AGRILAND FS presented a check for $7,015 to the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department on Friday, February 6th, as a result of its Fuel Up & Give Back pilot program at the Fairfield FAST STOP location.
The presentation took place during halftime of the girls’ varsity basketball game at Fairfield High School.
The funds were raised through a pilot program that ran from October 1st, 2025, to January 31st, 2026, where AGRILAND FS donated 3¢ for every gallon of gas and diesel fuel sold at their Fairfield FAST STOP location directly to the fire department. The fire department will determine how the funds will be allocated.
“We are extremely thankful for the partnership with AGRILAND FS,” said Brett Ferrel, Fire Chief at the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department. “The generous donation of 3¢ per gallon of fuel sold will help provide the opportunity to purchase much needed gear and tools for our department.”
AGRILAND FS currently operates 18 FAST STOP gas stations located in 17 communities across southern Iowa and northwest Missouri. The success of the Fairfield pilot program has led the company to launch phase three of the initiative.
Beginning March 1st, 2026, and running through June 30th, 2026, AGRILAND FS will donate 3¢ per gallon to the local community school districts in each of those 17 communities.
“The Fuel Up & Give Back program has been a great opportunity for our community fire departments. It became clear that our customers found value in the program and have been supportive of it,” said Ross Knobloch, Director of Energy at AGRILAND FS. “As a local business, we are proud we could give back to the Fairfield Volunteer Fire Department, and we look forward to kicking off phase three of the Fuel Up & Give Back program and supporting our communities that fuel up at our FAST STOP locations.”
The AGRILAND FS Fairfield FAST STOP gas pumps are located at 2901 W Grimes Avenue and are open to the public 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Fuel can be purchased at the pumps using any major credit card, debit card, or the AGRILAND FS proprietary FAST STOP charge card, which gives users loyalty savings per gallon on their statement when used at any of the 18 AGRILAND FS-branded FAST STOP locations.
