The Indian Hills Community College Foundation is excited to announce the 43 rd. Annual Celebrity Night, sponsored by Winger Companies, featuring Iowa Hawkeye and Minnesota Vikings Linebacker Chad Greenway.
Scheduled for Thursday, April 9, 2026, at the Indian Hills Dining Hall, the event will feature a reception followed by a prime rib and seafood dinner, remarks by Greenway and an auction featuring autographed Iowa Hawkeye and Minnesota Vikings memorabilia as well as works from local artists.
Hailing from Mount Vernon, South Dakota, Greenway led the Titans to back-to-back state football titles and was named the 2001 South Dakota Gatorade Player of the Year before joining the Hawkeyes for four standout seasons. During his time at Iowa, Greenway made a name for himself as one of the premier linebackers in the Big Ten Conference. Greenway served as a team captain and was instrumental in leading the Hawkeyes to four consecutive New Year’s Day Bowl games and a pair of Big Ten Co- Championships in 2002 and 2004. A two-time First Team All-Big Ten and All- American selection, Greenway recorded 382 tackles, eight sacks, three interceptions and four forced fumbles during his career with the Hawkeyes.
Greenway was selected as the 17 th overall pick in the first round of the 2006 NFL Draft by the Minnesota Vikings, where he spent his entire NFL career. A team captain, two- time Pro Bowl selection and four-time winner of the Vikings Community Man of the Year award, he is one of the most respected defensive leaders in Vikings history. During his 11-year career, Greenway recorded 1,101 tackles, 18 sacks, 11 interceptions and eight forced fumbles.
Individual tickets for this event are priced at $90 each, while reserved tables of 8 are available for $800. All proceeds will directly benefit student scholarships at Indian Hills Community College.
