Robert Harold McNabb Jr, 72, of Urbandale and formerly of Ottumwa died at 10:11 a.m. January 1, 2026 at Royal Oaks Nursing and Rehab Center.
He was born December 12, 1953 in Ottumwa to Robert Harold and Carol Louise Summers McNabb Sr. Robert married Jolene Davis and they later divorced.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, Robert worked for Dr. Pepper Snapple.
Robert loved detailing cars and tinkering with things.
Surviving are his daughters, Alicia Crippen (Josh Bergman) of Urbandale, Kristen (Robert) Jenssen of Shell Rock and Tara (Chuck) McNeil of Myrtle Beach, SC; 8 grandchildren, Colby, Isabella, Lexie, Davin, Braxton, Holly, Matthew and Trevor; siblings, Steve (Marcia) McNabb of OH, Danny McNabb, Diane McNabb (Dave Manley), Linda (Cole) Davis and Debbie Caudron (Denny Long) all of Ottumwa; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Harold Moore; and a brother, Richard McNabb.
Visitation will be open 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, January 4th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Cremation will follow the visitation.
