Linda Lea Herrick, 81, of Ottumwa died at 11:35 p.m. November 2, 2025 at River Valley Place.
She was born June 21, 1944 in Des Moines to Robert L. and Marjorie Dudley Steen. Linda married F. Dean Herrick April 21, 1983.
Linda was a graduate of Des Moines East High School.
She was a member of Ottumwa Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and Southeast Iowa Antique Car Club. Linda loved raising exotic birds. She especially loved spending time with her family.
Surviving is her husband, Dean; children, Jason R.L. Martin of Burlington, Scott (Andrea) Herrick of New Smyrna Beach, FL and Tyler (Lauren) Herrick of Ottumwa; 10 grandchildren, Braden, Trysten, Ryan (Tori), Cheyenne (Josh), Kaitlin, Ryder, Kennedy, Landon, Halyn and Kyson; 3 great grandchildren, Aspyn, Colson and Mordekai; siblings, Marsha Trask and Nona (Michael) Walker.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Lisa Herrick Blair; and a son, Adam Herrick.
Her body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Friday November 7th at Reece Funeral Home with Elder Eric Leyden officiating. Family will be present to greet friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
