John Willis Scotton, 61, of Fairfield, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family.
John was born March 24, 1964 in Fairfield, the son of Dwain and Violet (Hagans) Scotton.
John worked as a carpenter for Rebling Construction. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, camping, spending time outdoors, and sprint car and late model car racing. He was an avid Budweiser Beer Stein collector.
Those left to honor his memory include his children, Allan (Taylor) Connelly and Anna Scotton, both of Washington; grandchildren, Uriah, Carter, Xavier, Elijah, Gavin, Cadence, Tilian, and Lyric; sister, Donna Harman of Sigourney; and sister-in-law, Bonnie Scotton of Birmingham.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Jerry and Leonard; sister, Joyce; and his significant other, Donna Sue Connelly.
