Jackson Eugene Grooms, 23, of Bloomfield died November 9, 2025 at home.
He was born November 12, 2001 in Ottumwa to Todd and Megan Grooms.
A 2020 graduate of Ottumwa High School, Jackson had worked at Coil Spot Metal Wholesale.
Always fashionable, Jackson enjoyed golfing, being outdoors, motorcross, and taking pictures of nature. He was meticulous about taking care of his things, including washing his truck, sometimes twice a day. He loved music as well as spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his parents, Todd and Megan Grooms of Bloomfield; two sisters, Ellie (Hunter) Harris of Bloomfield, Macy (Drew) Wilfawn of Ottumwa; a nephew, Noah Wilfawn; grandparents, Rick & Judy Grooms and Deborah Poole Burns; his significant other, Alexandra Watson; along with several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a grandmother, Joan Williamson; a grandfather, Michael Poole.
His body has been cremated. Visitation with the family present to greet friends will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday, November 16th at Reece Funeral Home.
Memorials may be made to his family to be designated at a later date.
