The president of Iowa Corn says the push for permanent year-round E15 sales continues to be a top priority.
Stu Swanson tells Brownfield E15 work has been a lengthy battle.
“We’re going to keep going and we are going to get that done,” he said. “Legislatively, we have a couple of opportunities here in the near future that we hope we can get that tied onto.”
He says he’s had some productive meetings with the Trump administration.
“EPA Administrator (Lee) Zeldin was at the Iowa State Fair and I had an opportunity to talk to him about the importance of getting that year-round, permanent fix that we need. We’ll continue to work with our legislators to make that happen as soon as we can.”
