Jerry Duane Bone, 74, of Ottumwa died at 8:14 p.m. June 18, 2025 at Ottumwa Regional Health Center.
He was born October 25, 1950 in Ottumwa to Herbert William and Helen M. Beghtol Bone. Jerry married Linda Hull and they later divorced.
He worked as a truck driver for Mayflower and then as a machine operator for Everco.
Jerry enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a big heart and would do anything for anyone.
Surviving are his children, Amanda Bone, Scott Bone and Travis (Angie) Bone all of Ottumwa; 4 grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Whitney and Brandon; 5 great grandchildren, DeShawn, Blake, Olivia, Alex and Emilee; siblings, Bill (Cindy) Bone, Carolyn (Darrell) Ellis, Sharon Jacobs (Terry Eddy); many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gerold Bone; Robert Bone, Ronald Bone and Kenny Bone; nephews, Christoper Jacobs and Corey Jacobs; a niece, Samantha Ellis; and a great grandson, Asher Franke.
Visitation will open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday June 22nd at Reece Funeral Home with family present to greet friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Monday June 23rd at Reece Funeral Home.
Cremation will follow the service.
Memorials may be made to the family.
