The rumble of engines and the shine of polished chrome filled the air Saturday as nearly 100 classic cars, trucks, and motorcycles rolled into the Beer Belly BBQ grounds for the First Annual What Cheer Volunteer Fire and Rescue Car Show.
Hosted by the What Cheer Volunteer Fire Department, the event blended small-town charm with big horsepower for a day dedicated to supporting local emergency services.
But this show was about more than just beautiful machines—it was about the people who answer the call when we need them most. The fire department is currently raising funds to replace aging gear and improve their equipment, ensuring volunteers stay safe and ready during every fire, crash, and crisis.
Visitors enjoyed a day of food, music, and fellowship as they browsed hot rods, motorcycles, and custom builds from around the region. A 50/50 raffle added to the fun—and showcased the town’s generous heart when the winner donated over $500 back to the department.
