Over the past two weeks, a coordinated sex offender sweep conducted by the Kirksville Police Department and partnering agencies resulted in the arrest of six individuals in northeast Missouri. Charges include rape, statutory rape, sodomy, child molestation, and possession of child pornography.

Arrested individuals:

• Levi Birmingham (36, Milan) – Charged with rape (1), statutory rape (2), sodomy (1), statutory sodomy (4), and child molestation (2).
• Colton Daugherty (26, Kirksville) – Charged with sodomy (3) and child molestation (1).
• John Laurent (65, Kirksville) – Charged with possession of child pornography (2).
• Maurice Hall (25, Kirksville) – Charged with statutory sodomy (1).
• Johnathon Gerber (25, Kirksville) – Charged with possession of child pornography (1).
• Kendrick Daniels (45, Millard) – Charged with statutory rape (1), rape (5), and child molestation (1).

This operation was a joint effort involving the Kirksville Police Department, Adair County Prosecutor, Missouri State Highway Patrol, Adair County Sheriff’s Office, St. Charles County Police Department, Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office, and Milan Police Department.
