An Ottumwa man was arrested stemming from two alleged sexual assaults earlier this year.
38-year-old Karfin Richard has been charged with third-degree sexual abuse, a Class C felony.
Ottumwa police say Karfin forced sexual acts on the victim on two separate occasions in February. The alleged incident took place at a residence in Ottumwa.
A warrant for Richard’s arrest was issued on May 6th, and he was taken into custody that same day.
Richard is currently at the Wapello County Jail. His bond has been set at $10,000.
