JoAnn Feehan, 83 of Gulf Breeze, FL, formerly of Ottumwa died January 22, 2025 surrounded by her family.
She was born September 28, 1941 to Edward and Georgina Watt Sampson. JoAnn married Jerry Feehan October 1, 1972 in Lancaster, MO and he preceded her in death August 1, 1983.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, she lived in Waverly in the early 1970’s moving to Dysart in 1986. In 2004, JoAnn moved to Florida to be with her children.
JoAnn enjoyed bowling, traveling, raising her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She especially enjoyed the company of her family in Florida as well as those who came to visit her.
Surviving are her children, Brian Feehan and Rochelle Greenway; grandchildren, Brandon Card, Angelina (Jordon) Cooper, Justin (Julianna) Meggers, Michael Feehan, Rhiannon Dearth and Bryce Greenway; great grandchildren, Larry Meggers, Henry Meggers, Margaret Meggers, Addyson Shimp, Ethan Shimp, Kinley Cooper and Aviana Dearth; siblings, Jim (Mary) Sampson, Tom (Cathy) Sampson, Jessie Feehan and Mary Carruthers.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Robin Meggers; a brother, John Sampson; and a sister, Elizabeth Haines.
Her body has been cremated. Graveside services and inurnment will be 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 20th at Memorial Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Mel Kendall officiating.
