Dora Ruth Smith, 92, of Agency, passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025 at the Kensington Place in Ft. Madison, IA.
She was born on January 11, 1933 in Batavia, IA to Charles and Elsie Rhoades Clark. Dora married Fred McClure on February 27, 1950 and he passed away on February 3, 1963. From that marriage they had five children; Deb, Peggy, Mark, Kevin and Bruce. She then married Donald Smith on December 26, 1969 and he passed away on May 12, 2022.
Survivors include her three children, Deb (Randy) Knaak, Kevin (Beatty) McClure and Bruce (Nancy) McClure; twelve grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, a daughter, Peggy Songer and a son, Mark McClure.
Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A private graveside will take place at Bethlehem Cemetery in Floris, IA.
