A Fairfield man is facing multiple charges after a domestic disturbance over the weekend.
Fairfield police were called to the 500 block of West Fillmore Avenue Saturday evening in response to a domestic disturbance.
A woman at the scene told officers she had been choked and punched by her partner. She also reported that her phone was taken and broken while she was attempting to call 911.
Police say the woman had visible injuries consistent with her account.
Officers arrested 26-year-old Ethan Andrew Kleindienst of Fairfield. He has been charged with domestic abuse assault—strangulation and bodily injury, a Class D felony. He also faces charges of domestic abuse assault, first-degree harassment, and obstruction of emergency communication.
Kleindienst was taken to the Jefferson County Correctional Facility
