The Wapello County Secondary Roads Department has announced a one-day road closure as part of Project #1820 on Whiskey Ridge, scheduled for Wednesday, April 30, 2025. The closure will allow for the replacement of a culvert at the intersection of Whiskey Ridge and 220th Avenue.
The closure will begin at 7:00 AM and is expected to be completed by 4:30 PM the same day. During this time, Whiskey Ridge will be closed to all traffic at the work site.
Motorists are advised to plan ahead and use alternate routes. Proper signage and detours will be in place to direct traffic safely around the construction zone.
“We appreciate the public’s patience and cooperation as we work to improve road safety and infrastructure,” said a representative of the Wapello County Engineer’s Office.
