Theresa Fern Gullett, 68, of Ottumwa died at 2:27 a.m. February 25, 2025 at her home.
She was born January 13, 1957 in Centerville to David and Loretta Hayes.
A 1975 graduate of Albia High School, Theresa went on to get her CNA before moving to Ottumwa in 2006.
Starting August of 2009, she worked as a cook for Caseys General Store on East Main Street in Ottumwa for 15 years.
Theresa loved spending time with her friends and family at home.
Surviving is her daughter, Alyssa Hayes of Ottumwa; a granddaughter, Addilynn Current; 2 sisters, Susan (Ernie) Parker, Annie Hayes both of Missouri.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Her body has been cremated.
Visitation with her family present to greet friends will be 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday March 9th at Reece Funeral Home.
Memorials will be made to her family.
