Film lovers from around the world attended the inaugural Ottumwa International Film Festival last weekend.
The festival, hosted at the Bridge View Center, featured films from five different countries. Several awards were presented, and a local filmmaker was a recipient.
Jace Cheney of Bloomfield was the winner in the student film category. Cheney was the writer and director of the award-winning film “Small Town Murders.”
