Pumpkin growers from around the state will be featured in an upcoming episode of Iowa PBS’s Iowa Life, a magazine-style series uncovering the diverse tapestry of Iowa’s people, cultures and stories. The episode will premiere Tuesday, April 8 at 6:30 p.m. and be rebroadcast Sunday, April 13 at 10:30 a.m.
In this episode of Iowa Life, viewers will meet Iowa growers who are competing to raise the world’s largest pumpkin. Featured competitors are:
- Pete Caspers, Peosta
- Rusty Caspers, Anamosa
- Dave Davis, Bloomfield
- Greg Norlin, Anamosa
The episode will also include segments about the Iowa Legislative Page Program, radio broadcaster Bob Fisher, and Spook Cave.
