In May of 2424, The Federal Trade Commission alerted everyone of a text message scam going around.This scam has started to go around again.
If you receive a text message that says you owe for a unpaid toll, It’s a SCAM.
The text might even show a dollar amount for how much you owe.It links to a page where you provide your credit card or bank information.
Not only are they trying to take your money, they could also have access to your personal information and steal your identity
Offical tolling agencies will use postal mail to send a photo of your vehicle with your license plate visible if you actually missed paying a toll.
