December 17, 2024 – Ottumwa, Iowa – Beginning immediately, westbound truck traffic on K
Avenue may only turn left onto South Iowa Avenue towards Highway 34. This change is due to
safety concerns created by trucks turning into oncoming traffic and spilling water and debris out of
their trailers. This restriction will remain in force until spring, where it will be lifted unless made
permanent by the City Council.
