One of the people linked to the 1995 disappearance of Jodi Huisentruit passed away earlier in December.
Private Investigator Steve Ridge says that John Vansice passed away on December 6 in Arizona.
Investigators have called Vansice a possible suspect in the cold case of the missing TV anchor from Mason City. However, Vansice had never been tried or charged with Huisentruit’s disappearance.
Ridge reported in 2020 that Vansice had an aggressive case of Alzheimer’s Disease.
Huisentruit was reported missing on June 27, 1995 when she didn’t report for work at KIMT.
