Hospice Serving Davis & Wapello Counties will host an event this weekend.
Sips with Santa will take place on Friday, December 6 from 6:00 to 7:30 PM. Public Relations Coordinator Meg Benge says the event will have plenty to offer.
“Our event is community-focused, offering a warm and safe space for families to make memorable moments with their littles. We will have a hot cocoa bar, cookie decorating, and photo opportunities with Mr. Claus himself!”
Benge says there will also be a silent auction that will run all day on December 6. Items include gift baskets, gift cards, hand painted gifts, 55″ Samsung TV, and more.
“We have had so much support from local businesses across Davis and Wapello Counties. This is our first year doing the silent auction and we are hopeful we can raise maybe $300 to help with patient suite updates.”
The event is free and open to the public.
