A restaurant in southeast Iowa is closed due to a fire that occurred early Sunday morning.
According to a social media post, a motorist noticed flames coming from the kitchen of Bogie’s Steakhouse in Albia. Curtis Van Der Hart called 911.
A crew from the Albia Fire Department arrived to extinguish the fire. Damage to the restaurant includes a hole in the roof and fire damage to the back of the building.
Bogie’s Steakhouse opened on February 14, 1990, and is located at 1425 North Clinton Street in Albia.
