Tuesday night’s meeting, started off by the council approving the agenda including which included a towing contract for the Ottumwa Police Department to Deran’s Towing, amending Fiscal Year 2024 Annual Urban Renewal Report and ordering the report to be filed with the Iowa Department of Management.
Also on Tuesday night’s agenda the council approved an ordinance Revising the Title of the Airport Director. Council also approved resolution for the annual budget for the Ottumwa Water Works for the year 2025.
Also while talking about Holiday Happenings the council mentioned On Thanksgiving Day the CPKC Holiday Train stopped in Otumwa and donated $5000.00 and received canned goods for the Iowa Food Bank.
