The Ottumwa Youth City Council will recognize first responders in honor of Patriot Day, according to the City of Ottumwa.
On September 11, the Youth City Council will deliver cards made by youth in the community to each department.
The City says the youth want to honor the first responders who risks their lives to save as many victims as they could during the attacks on September 11, 2001.
