‘Most Wanted’ Iowa Sex Offender of Eddyville faces additional charges after running from Wapello County Deputies.
20-year-old Jeremiah Piper was charged with failure to register as a sex offender and interference with official acts.
On August 21, according to the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office a citizen reported Piper to authorities for failing to register as a sex offender. Deputies located piper at 105 Mill Street in Eddyville and Piper engaged a foot chase that was apprehended near Vance and 3rd Street.
According to Authorities, Piper is on the ‘Most Wanted’ Iowa Sex Offender Resgistry, previously escaped from the Fort Dodge Half-Way House, has had a parole violation, and multiple active arrest warrants.
Piper is being held at the Wapello County Jail.
