Timothy Lou Youngman, 72, of Ottumwa, died at 10:40 a.m. August 11, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society – Ottumwa.
He was born January 6, 1952 in Burlington to Luther Walford and Eleanor Mae Pershing Youngman. He married Ann Harding May 17, 1986.
A graduate of Burlington High School, Tim earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Mount Mercy College in Cedar Rapids. Working in finance, he was president of People’s Savings & Loan in Ottumwa.
Tim served on the Ottumwa Regional Health Center Board of Directors. He was a pilot and owned his own airplane, which he greatly enjoyed.
Surviving is his wife, Ann; sister, Carol Youngman; mother-in-law, Cathy Harding of Ft. Meyers, FL; sister-in-law, Amy (Keith) Seiler of Ft. Myers, FL; niece and nephew, Allyson Miller and Adam Miller; his dog, Bodie; along with the Carters’ and Hardings’ extended families.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his father-in-law, Glen Harding.
Visitation will be open at 11 a.m. Thursday, August 15th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. Friday, August 16th at Reece Funeral Home with Sheri Locke officiating. Burial will be in Ottumwa Cemetery.
