Margaret Anne Ruble, 65, of Ottumwa, died at 9:20 a.m. August 29, 2024 at Good Samaritan Society-Ottumwa.
She was born October 5, 1958 in Ottumwa to Clint and Martha Powers Spilman.
A graduate of Ottumwa High School, Margaret had worked at the Fremont Gazette newspaper and was a medical transcriptionist.
She was a member of First Pentecostal Assembly of God. Margaret liked to write, enjoyed Sci-Fi movies and loved animals.
Surviving are her sons, Andrew Ruble and Morgan Ruble both of Ottumwa; siblings, David (Connie) Spilman of Springfield, MO and Jennette (Larry) Smith of Inyokern, CA; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Christopher Spilman and a sister, Christina Spilman.
Her body has been cremated. Memorial services and inurnment in Shaul Cemetery will be at a later date.
