The League of Women Voters will be hosting a forum this Thursday night from 6:30 to 8:30 at Ottumwa Schools Career Campus located at 331 East Main Street.
The forum’s purpose is to provide an opportunity for the public to learn more about the Local Option Sales and Services Tax (LOSST) and its importance to the community. Wapello County Supervisor Brian Morgan, City of Ottumwa Finance Director Cole O’Donnell, and Chillicothe City Clerk Tim Richmond are scheduled to speak and answer any questions.
The League of Women Voters says the forum can also be viewed on the City of Ottumwa’s YouTube channel.
