A convicted felon allegedly has possession of two loaded guns.
31-year-old Ryan Feehan of Ottumwa was charged with two counts for Possession of Firearm by Felon, a Class D Felony.
On June 2, court records say Feehan was pulled over with a wanted person in his front passenger seat. Police searched the vehicle and found a loaded rifle magazine in direct sight under the drivers seat. Authorities also found an AK-47 rifle in the trunk of the vehicle.
Police searched Feehan’s residence and found a 9 millimeter handgun, without a serial number, on his bed. Feehan is a convicted felon making it illegal to own or handle a firearm.
Feehan was taken to the Wapello County Jail. His bond has been set at $5,000 and he has a preliminary hearing on June 13.
