Acoustic Fridays on the Riverfront is an outdoor concert series showcasing Southeast Iowa’s finest musicians, held in the summer months on the outdoor riverfront plaza behind Bridge View Center overlooking downtown Ottumwa and the Des Moines River. Tables and chairs are provided, but guests are welcome to bring lawn chairs if they prefer.

Marc Roe has been performing for more than 30 years.  He began his music career playing guitar and singing in heavy metal bands, touring, and writing music.  His band 12 Days Silent drew national attention, opening for many major label artists and receiving recognition in music publications such as Hollywood Music Magazine.  After stepping away from the heavy metal scene, Marc traded in the electric guitar for an acoustic and began playing crowd favorites while mixing in original music here and there.  He has performed across the United States, large audiences and small.
