An Ottumwa man was arrested due to an alleged attack that occurred earlier this month.
18-year-old Konor Droz was charged with willful injury, a Class D felony.
On April 6, court records say a man was “blindly” attacked by Droz at the 400 block of Johnson Avenue in Ottumwa.
Droz is alleged to have knocked the victim to the ground. He is also accused of punching the victim in the face and kicking him repeatedly in the ribs despite the victim’s pleas to stop. Police say the victim suffered a black eye and bruised ribs from the attack.
A warrant for Droz’s arrest was issued and he was taken into custody on April 23.
Droz is currently lodged in the Wapello County Jail where his bail has been set at $5,000.
