The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce announced its final Legislative Forum this season, an event designed to facilitate open dialogue between community members and local legislators scheduled for Saturday, April 20 at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. The doors open at 7am with the event starting promptly at 7:30 am and ending at 9am. This forum aims to enlighten citizens on what is happening at the state capital.

Please note that local representation has informed organizers that they may end up working this weekend at the state capital. Their attendance will not be known until Friday afternoon.

At the Fairfield Chamber Legislative Forum, attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with elected officials, to discuss a wide range of topics impacting our area. This forum will serve as a platform for meaningful conversation and constructive exchange of ideas.

The forum will feature updates from local legislators about what they are currently working on and a Q&A session. This allows participants to gain insights, share perspectives, and build relationships with local leaders and fellow community members. Whether you are a business owner, resident, or advocate, your input and participation are vital in shaping the future of Fairfield. By fostering dialogue and collaboration, we can work together to address challenges, seize opportunities, and drive positive change in Fairfield and beyond.

“We encourage everyone to join us at the Fairfield Chamber’s Legislative Forum and be part of the conversation,” added Mendy McAdams, Chamber Director. “Together, we can make a difference and create a stronger, more vibrant community for generations to come.”

The Fairfield Chamber of Commerce extends its gratitude to event sponsors and partners for their support in making this forum possible. 2024 Forum sponsors include Morrissey Law Office, Fairfield Community School District, Jefferson County Farmers and Neighbors (JFAN), Sierra Club, and Fairfield Arts and Convention Center.
