One man required CPR and another was arrested after a vehicle attempting to escape law enforcement drove into a pond in Monroe County.
The Iowa State Patrol says at 10:05 PM on Thursday, a Dodge Ram driven by 21-year-old Trevor Joe Gundrum of Eddyville was trying to elude authorities on 695th Avenue in Albia when it left the road and drove through a field.
The accident report states the pickup truck entered a pond. All three occupants of the vehicle were able to exit but one person, 17-year-old Trenton Larry Gundrum, required CPR and was airlifted to a hospital in Des Moines.
Trevor Joe Gundrum was arrested and the other passenger was released.
