Douds, IA– The Lunchbox, a local favorite known for home cooking and a family friendly atmosphere in Douds, hosted over 200 guests at it’s 8th annual Community Christmas Dinner Friday night.

Pastor Phil and the Bethel Worship Center operate the Lunchbox and are open for business Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. They are able to host the Community Christmas Dinner thanks to generous annual donations from an unnamed local family.

The menu included roast beef, roast pork, potatoes and gravy, green beans, corn, a roll and a plethora of homemade desserts. Serving sizes were ample, conversation was engaging and the atmosphere was nothing short of inviting. Douds is blessed to have an establishment like the Lunchbox.
