A southeast Iowa man has won a $10,000 lottery prize.
Robert “Bob” Gomez won the first prize of $10,000 in the Iowa Lottery’s “Starry Night” scratch game. He purchased his winning ticket at BP, 720 Richmond Ave. in Ottumwa, and claimed his prize at lottery headquarters in Clive.
Starry Night is a $20 holiday-themed scratch game that features 17 top prizes of $25,000, 17 prizes of $10,000 and overall odds of 1 in 2.38.
