A local project will be offering a free lunch to farmers in southeast Iowa at two locations next week.
Dusty Fox Wind is a wind energy project of Apex Clean Energy. The current project is located in rural Wapello, Jefferson, and Keokuk Counties in Iowa.
The free lunch will be from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM on Monday, October 9 at two locations: Wapello County Gran Inc. at 12421 Agency Hedrick Road in Ottumwa and Heartland Co-op at 2081 Nutmeg Avenue in Fairfield.
Dusty Fox Wind the free meal is a thank you to farmers who are working in the field this harvest season.
