 Ryder James Bradley, 16, of Ottumwa died August 17, 2023 near Oskaloosa due to injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

He was born September 27, 2006 in Ottumwa to Shane Patrick and Desiree Nicole Harbour Bradley.

Getting ready to start his Junior year at Ottumwa High School, Ryder had worked at South Hy-Vee and attended the Bridge Church. He was a bright student, taking honors classes and was involved in the Talented and Gifted program.

He enjoyed bowling in his youth, building computers, fishing and spending time with his friends.

Surviving are his parents, Shane and Desiree Bradley; a sister, Jasmine Bowermaster; grandparents, Jerry Dean (Charlene) Harbour of Bloomfield, Melina Harbour of Iowa City; Denny and Pat Bradley of Ottumwa; a great grandmother, Karen Glasgow of Batavia; aunts and uncle, Nikki Bradley, Angela Harbour, Jerry Harbour (Amanda Knight); along with many great aunts, great uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by great-grandparents.

Visitation will be open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday. August 27th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.

A service to celebrate his life will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, August 28th at Reece Funeral Home. Cremation will follow the service.

Memorials may be made to Heartland Humane Society or Ottumwa Youth Bowling League.
