Anna Jean McClure, 91, formerly of Ottumwa, died April 30, 2023 at home in Las Vegas, NV.
She was born November 19, 1931 in New Boston, IL to Clair and Mabel Milan Ripley. Ann married Hillard Fowler Sr. on June 21, 1971
and he preceded her in death on April 7, 1993. She married Herbert Wayne McClure on June 24, 1995 and he preceded her in death
on November 19, 2014.
Ann had worked at Standard Kollsman and J.W. Edgerly before working at Good Samaritan Nursing & Rehab for 25 years. She retired in 1996. Ann enjoyed sewing and quilting.
Surviving are her children, Ralph (Elaine) Murray, Jean (Bill) McMillin, Connie Richards and Debra Storey; 7 grandchildren; 11 great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 6 brothers, George, Henry, Clair Jr., James, Robert and Donald Ripley; 5 sisters, Ida Levis, Rosetta Wrights, Buelah Keast, Betty Jo Gatlin and Darlene Bradfield.
Her body has been cremated.
Graveside services and inurnment will be 1 p.m. Saturday, September 2nd at Bethlehem Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Good Samaritan Society-Ottumwa.
