One person was killed and three others were injured after an ATV and UTV collided in Mahaska County Thursday evening.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, the two vehicles were traveling eastbound on 270th Street at approximately 7:17 PM.
The accident report states the two vehicles collided which caused the UTV to leave the road and roll over. A passenger from the UTV was ejected and was later pronounced dead at the scene.
Three other individuals suffered minor injuries and were treated at the scene of the accident, officials say.
The identity of the deceased and injured was withheld in the accident report.
The accident remains under investigation.
