A teenager passed away after an ATV accident in Lucas County Wednesday.
According to the Iowa State Patrol, an ATV accident was reported to the Lucas County Sheriff’s Office at 4:00 PM with reports of a juvenile male operating an ATV and being involved in a serious accident.
14-year-old Alex Oxenreider of Chariton was transported to the Lucas County Health Center but died from the injuries he sustained in the accident.
