Marion County voters who plan to vote by absentee ballot for the 2026 General Election can now submit their absentee ballot request forms to the Marion County Auditor’s Office.
Request forms are available through the Iowa Secretary of State’s Office and may be mailed to:

The Auditor’s Office will begin mailing absentee ballots on Wednesday, October 14. Voters may also begin casting absentee ballots in person at the courthouse that day.
The deadline to register to vote before the election, as well as the deadline to request that an absentee ballot be mailed, is Monday, October 19.
The 2026 General Election will be held Tuesday, November 3.
