Jeremy Wayne Moore, 37, died September 2, 2026 at his home.
He was born March 23, 1989 in Ottumwa to Kevin Dwayne and Constance Kay “Connie” Chichester Moore.
A resident of Ottumwa all of his life, Jeremy attended Ottumwa High School. He had worked various places, mostly in construction.
He enjoyed rock hunting, doing wheelies on his bike as well as working out and showing off his muscles. Jeremy was willing to help anyone for nothing in return. He loved spending time with his family, especially his son and grandson.
Surviving is his son, Dalton Wayne Moore (Hanna Talbert) of Ottumwa; a grandson, Koda Moore; Dalton’s mother, Brittany Panko whom Jeremy was with for several years; Jeremy’s parents, Kevin and Connie Moore; his siblings, Josh Moore (Norma Saenz) of Oskaloosa, Sarah Moore (Dillon Robertson) of Ottumwa; nephews, Quin, Greyson and Korbyn; a niece on the way, Kinslee; grandmother, Sharon Chichester; aunts and uncles, Iva Lippincott, Rick Chichester, Michael Chichester, Brad Chichester (Leah Cobler), Candy Chichester, Trish Shepherd, Pat Nell, Keely Ruby, Karla Bray, James Armstrong and Jennifer Rupp; many cousins including, Travis, Aneisha, Dennis, Michael, Nick, Felicia, Jessica, Bobby, James, Clinton, Chloe, Laurissa, Landon, Kennedy, Jackson, Jillian, Leilah, Jessica, Brandon and Austin; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Richard Chichester, Laura Lue Armstrong and James Armstrong; and an uncle, Mike Lippincott.
Visitation will be open after 9 a.m. Friday, September 11th at Reece Funeral Home. His family will be present to greet friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday with funeral services conducted by Rev. Shane Frazier to follow at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.
