Brenda Case will announce her candidacy for State Senate on Thursday, August 27, at 2:00pm on the
lower level of Ottumwa Public Library.
Case’s 45-year career includes extensive state government level service to the counties of Iowa Senate
District 13. Brenda’s project management experience qualifies her to bring people of different
perspectives together. Her core values include responsible money management, human rights, and
integrity.
She is a graduate of Buena Vista University with BA degrees in Psychology and Sociology and holds a
certificate in Project Management from University of Iowa.
Brenda has long contributed to civic life as a board member of Friends of Ottumwa Public Library and
the Family Crisis Center. Case serves as Chair of the Historic Preservation Commission and is a
member of a number of other organizations related to the arts and human service.
